This is my first book and I am very excited. I am dyslexic and choose to overcome my disability by reading as much as I could. In doing so I saw the good and bad in books and found myself critiquing the stories. It got to the point where i had a complete book in my head. So I wrote it.
What are you working on next?
I am about to start my second book of the Fiann series. This takes place right after the first book and focuses on a beloved character.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I am a normal person with a dream to help at least one person with a learning disability to over come it. I do not have connections in the writing world and choose to go indie to get the full experience of writing, distribution, and marketing.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
To share a world I have created. To know others will love or hate my characters. And to share my love of paranormal romance with others.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything, without fans my journey can not continue.
Who are your favorite authors?
I have so many but currently I would say Donna Grant, Kym Grosso, and Rebecca Zanetti.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I have an autoimmune disorder so getting out of bed can be hard. However I have a young child that needs me to teach him how to take over the world. He looks up to me and that allows me to get out of bed.
When you’re not writing, how do you spend your time?
With my family or reading. My husband and son are big video game players and we play as a family. We also love camping and playing outside. I read a book a day to keep my brain focused on paranormal romance.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I am part of a few Facebook groups and that helps me find new reads. I also use Goodreads to be up to date.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It has allowed me to feel comfortable in a process I know little about.
